Tall Ships Festival Sept. 6-8
The 35th Annual Ocean Institute Tall Ships & Ocean Festival features a spectacular array of family-fun activities including live music, art shows and a variety of tasty food. Interactive living-history encampments including blacksmiths, scrimshaw artists, and the infamous Port Royal Privateers are sure to entertain and amaze guests of all ages and are not to be missed. Additionally, you can explore the historic tall ships and listen to the crew share tails of adventure and life at sea.

Bubble Run – Anaheim Sept. 7
If you’re not into running 5K’s that’s O.K.! The Bubble Run is for adults, teenagers, and children! Run through bubbles and foam after each kilometer for a total of 3 miles. Run, walk, or dance your way to the finish line!

Orange County Craft Beer Festival Sept. 7
This year there will be over 100 breweries serving over 160 craft & import beers plus awesome food, live entertainment, beer seminars, all at the best location in Orange County.

Oktoberfest Sept. 8 – October
Eat, drink, dance and be merry at the Old World Huntington Beach Oktoberfest! Enjoy authentic German food (voted “Best Bratwurst” in California,) imported German beers, and bands straight from Germany! This festival is sure to be the best yet!

31st Crab Fest & Auction Under the Stars Sept. 14
Money raised from the annual Crab Feast and Auction Under the Stars is used to support YMCA programming for under-served children and families in the community. One such example is our fully subsidized after school care program at the Richman Neighborhood Center in Fullerton.

Fiestas Patrias Festival Sept. 14-15
Come celebrate with top level entertainment, delicious food, carnival rides and games, variety of booths, art and culture exhibits, El Grito ceremony and a parade!

Catalina Festival of Art Sept. 20-22
The 61st Annual Catalina Festival of Arts is one of the longest running and most acclaimed art festivals in California! The event is on the waterfront at Catalina Island and is FREE to attend!

Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion Sept. 20-21
Join thousands of classic car fanatics in downtown Ontario for 2,000+ vintage cars and motorcycles, food, music, and other entertainment events. Admission is FREE!

Toast to the Casa 2019: Enchanted Garden Sept. 21
Event includes Multiple stages with live entertainment, Eclectic food and beverage fare (sample food, wine, beer, spirits and cigars from nearly 30 local vendors all evening), Exciting prizes and auction items, & a flawless patron experience with valet parking, ample seating and white glove service.

J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding Center Annual BBQ and Family Faire Sept. 21
Traditional family barbecue in a casual setting featuring live country western entertainment, activities for children, live and silent auctions and riding demonstrations throughout the evening. Country western wear is encouraged! All proceeds benefit the programs of the J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding Center dedicated to improving the lives of persons with disabilities through horsemanship.

Surf City 10 Sundown 10K/5K Sept. 21
This is the perfect training run for your fall or winter marathon. The spectacular 10K is long enough to challenge your endurance yet is the perfect distance for achieving a personal record. The Flat Fast course along California’s famous Pacific Coast Highway is perfect for a leisurely 5K jog.

71st Annual Fish Fry Sept. 21-23
Come one and all to the Annual Fish Fry! Fish Dinners are $10 and other activities include carnival rides, vendors, and live entertainment. Admission is FREE!

Catalina Film Festival Sept. 25-29
The ninth annual Catalina Film Festival will present films from dozens of countries in a variety of categories, including features, animation, documentaries and shorts. Awards are presented in more than a dozen categories. Also, career tributes — Richard Dreyfuss, Kevin Hart and Rosie Perez were among the 2018 honorees — industry panels, workshops and a Lion’s Den pitch session will be among the activities.

Ohana Festival Sept. 27-29
The Ohana Festival in Dana Point is a three-day music festival with a diverse line up. Proceeds from the festival will be donated to the San Onofre Parks Foundation, a California nonprofit that works with the state to preserve the environment and enhance the recreational experience of the coastal parks.

Surf City Surf Dog Sept. 28
Head to Hunting Dog Beach with your pup to check out the world-famous dog surfing event! Have fun on the beach with friends, family, and man’s best friend!

San Juan Capistrano Greek Festival Sept. 28-29
Be Greek for the day! Enjoy authentic Greek food and pastries, live Greek music, dancing, shopping at the Greek bazaar, kid- friendly activities and exhibits featuring Byzantine icons and traditional Greek costumes.
