Rotary/CARE Car Show Feb. 2 (Rain Date is Feb. 9)
The Car Show once again promises a fabulous display of over 400 antique and classic cars and trucks. The return of the popular New-Car Row will show the latest models from local dealers. This show is to benefit Capistrano Animal Rescue. Bring your family and four-legged friends to this event!

Monster Jam Feb. 2
Get ready for mayhem and destruction with the biggest, baddest monster trucks in the business. Monster Jam, one of the country’s premier live motorsport events, features drag racing and freestyle contests in which trucks face death-defying jumps and other obstacles. This event will be held at Angel Stadium and tickets are on sale now!

Surf City USA Marathon & Half Marathon Feb. 1-3
This exclusive oceanfront course is a California Dream! Run on Pacific Coast Highway past the famous Huntington Beach pier and wind through the legendary surfing beaches of Southern California. Retro surf bands entertain along the way and the Finish Line Party includes a beach-side beer garden in the California sun. Finishers receive bodacious surfboard medals!

Annual Monarch Butterfly Day Feb. 2
OC Parks invites children and families to learn all about Monarch Butterflies and their natural habitat with an up-close look at the magnificent creatures. Children can assist in planting plants to attract Monarch Butterflies.

Laguna Beach Music Festival Feb. 6-10
This festival is dedicated to artistic excellence and innovation, featuring an internationally acclaimed Mentor Musician or Ensemble along with other talented artists in a week long blend of performances and education.

Tet Festival Feb. 8-10
Celebrate the year of the pig at the largest Tet Festival in the country! This Vietnamese jubilee celebrates the Lunar New Year with traditional customs and cuisine. Located at the Orange County Fairgrounds, this event includes live entertainment, festive games & rides, a variety of ethnic foods, and a spectacular firecrackers show celebrating the new year over the three-day weekend event.

Trail Love 5K, 10K, and Love Bugs 1 Mile Feb. 9
Join us for a beautiful 5K, 10K, or 1 Mile Kids’ Race on Saturday February 9, 2019 at Irvine Regional Park. The 5K is especially good for first-time trail runners. The 10K is a relatively fast trail course with only a few brief hills and a few technical sections. Both courses are beautiful and show you the back country of Irvine Regional Park. Timberwolf 5K Run/Walk Feb. 9
Celebrate the Timberwolf 5K’s 10th anniversary with more than 1,100 athletes and 25 teams! Enjoy breathtaking views and a yummy pancake breakfast following the race.

Scots Festival & International Highland Games Feb. 16-17

Kids’ Pet Parade Feb. 16 (Rain Date is Feb. 23)
The Kids’ Pet Parade is the ultimate bonding experience for kids and their furry friends. Children between the ages of five and 12 can enter contests for: Best Team Costume, Best Domestic/Household Pet, Best Exotic Pet, Best Barnyard/Farm Animal, and Best Bird. There is a $5 entry fee and all pets must be leashed, haltered, or caged, and an adult must accompany children.

Harlem Globetrotters Feb. 23
The world famous Harlem Globetrotters, with some of the most electrifying athletes on the planet, feature a star-studded roster that is sure to go beyond expectations. See ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, comedy and unequaled fan interaction. Catch the Harlem Globetrotters at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m.
