SoCal’s Ultimate Winter Festival Through December
Come experience the magic when winter comes to SoCal! This festival features 18 days of winter fun including: outdoor ice skating, ice tubing down an 8 lane, 150 foot mountain, snow play area, a light maze, live music, food, drinks, and MUCH more.  

Candy Caneland & Craft Faire Dec. 1
This is a winter holiday celebration featuring wonderful activities for the whole family! This year’s event will once again feature snow slides, live entertainment, a petting zoo, and over 100 artisan craft booths.

Free Boat Rides with Santa  Dec. 1-2
Santa and his helpers listen to Christmas wishes during 20-minute harbor cruises from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Bring your camera and enjoy the tradition Dana Wharf has offered families for generations.  A $5 donation to the El Camino Real Junior Woman’s Club is suggested. No reservations required!

Winter Festival & Tree Lighting Dec. 1
Join the City of Dana Point at the annual Winter Festival on Saturday, December 1st from 12 p.m.-7 p.m. Activities include a visit from Santa, reindeer, snow, crafts for kids, cookie decorating, holiday entertainment, petting zoo, craft beer for adults, and the annual tree lighting

Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 1
This special holiday event will feature guests from the North Pole as well as performances by various community groups, delicious food available for purchase from local non-profit organizations, games, a spectacular fireworks show, and much more! The fun begins at 4:30 p.m. and is FREE to attend!

Santa’s Village by the Sea Dec. 1
Santa’s Village by the Sea Dec. 1 The event begins with the annual tree lighting ceremony to usher in the spirit of the season. Take a picture with Santa and delight in a night filled with holiday fun, carolers, cookie decorating, and activities for the whole family to enjoy! This event is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Winter Market Dec. 1
THE MARKET WILL FEATURE: holiday entertainment, free pictures with Santa from 12 to 4 p.m., Food booths, holiday shopping, face painting, bounce house, beer and wine garden, and “spark of love” toy drive with Fullerton firefighters

Free Christmas Lighting Celebration Dec. 5
Presented by the City of Garden Grove and the Garden Grove Community Foundation, this free event features live entertainment and holiday refreshments. The event culminates with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus, spectacular tree lighting, and a flurry of winter snow.

Brea Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 6
Light up the holiday at the City of Brea’s annual tree lighting celebration. Pictures with Santa are available for a fee. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served. This is FREE to attend!   

Night of a Thousand Lights Dec. 7-8
The 5th Annual Night of 1,000 Lights is to be the best yet! All guests will enjoy complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and a make your own ‘smores station. Enjoy a photo-op with Santa, a photo booth, and of course, dazzling and NEW light displays!

44th Annual Boat Parade Dec. 7, 8, 14, 15
Enjoy this holiday extravaganza throughout the harbor each night of the Boat Parade that features carolers, superheroes, games, crafts, and FREE photos with Santa, and culminates with the Boat Parade.This event is from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

2018 Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade Dec. 8
The parade includes beautiful equestrian units, patriotic and inspirational military tributes, world-class athletes, spirit-filled youth groups, classic auto clubs, talented marching bands, and some of the biggest attractions in the nation!

9th Annual OC Autism Breakfast with Santa Dec. 15
This continental breakfast and family resource fair is equipped with tasty goodies, beverages, and a visit from Santa! This is a safe and friendly atmosphere for autistic children and children with other disabilities to socialize and spread holiday cheer.

Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade   Dec. 19- 23
FREE to the public. The boat parade will light up the harbor for five consecutive nights. The parade starts at Bay Island at 6:00 p.m. and will last approximately three and a half hours.

Knott’s  Merry Farm Through Jan. 6
Guests of all ages can embrace the joy of Christmas at Knott’s Merry Farm, with classic shows like the Holiday Ice Show featuring Snoopy, the Peanuts Gang and a cast of world class ice skaters, the nightly tree lighting ceremony and The Christmas Carol. Plus stroll through the merry streets of Calico for unique seasonal treats, Santa’s Christmas Cabin, traditional live Christmas Carolers, a Christmas Crafts Village, an enchanting Snow and Glow show with nightly falling snow, and so much more.
