Mariachi USA Festival July 1
Celebrating a rich mariachi music tradition, the 28th annual event promises to showcase the top mariachi bands from Mexico and the United States, along with traditional folkloric dances and a fireworks display.
Anime Expo 2017 July 1-4
Billed as the largest anime convention in North America, attendees can expect panels, workshops and guest speakers, an exhibit hall with more than 240 vendors and exhibitors of Japanese culture goods, and concerts featuring Japanese music acts.
39th Annual 4th of July Run in the Parks July 4
Run in the Parks is an Independence Day tradition. Races are held through the Crown Valley Community and Laguna Niguel Regional Parks. Proceeds Benefit the YMCA Scholarship Program.
Pageant of the Masters July 7 – Aug 31
The Pageant of the Masters is arguably one of the most unique productions in the entire world. Audiences are amazed and enchanted by ninety minutes of tableaux vivants (“living pictures”), incredibly faithful re-creations of classical and contemporary works of art, with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in the original pieces. A live narrator serves as a guide through the story of each living picture accompanied by the music of a professional orchestra.
German Heritage Day July 9

The Orange County Fair July 14 – Aug 13
The annual Orange County Fair is the premier family attraction in Southern California offering a wide variety of exhibits, foods, entertainment, rides and hands-on activities. There is something for everybody at the Fair including the summer headline concert series, working farm and petting zoos, thrill rides, contests, and games.
Ocean Festival July 15-16

Fiesta de Solano July 21-23

California Wine Festival July 13-14
One of the state’s largest outdoor wine festivals, the 14th annual edition will feature hundreds of premium California wines along with the best selections produced by regional microbreweries, bites from top local chefs and other food purveyors and vendors.
Cypress Community Festival July 22
One of the largest one-day festival in Orange County that attracts over 20,000 people annually. This event includes an early morning 5K / 10K run, a pancake breakfast, car show, chili cook-off, family games, food booths, the Chamber of Commerce business expo, children’s rides, arts and crafts booths and four stages with continuous entertainment. The admission is FREE!
Vans U.S. Open of Surfing July 29 – Aug 6
One of the world’s top biggest contests also boasts top-flight skate and BMX competition. Even if you’re not an action sports devotee, the extensive merchandise area and people-watching opportunities are a draw.
