OC Chill • Ice Rink Thru December
A tradition the whole family can enjoy! Gliding around Irvine Spectrum Center’s outdoor Ice Rink is the coolest activity in OC so lace up some skates and join the frozen fun in Giant Wheel Court!

Knott’s Merry Farm  Thru December
Each evening, see the night come to light in Snoopy’s Merriest Tree Lighting show, and then take a walk down Ghost Town’s Main Street as thousands of sparkling lights dance to the beat of familiar holiday music while snow gently falls.

Letters to Santa Dec  1-20
Santa promises to answer every Christmas wish list deposited in the mailbox next to his workshop. Bring your letters to Santa and the Big Guy will personally respond to the delight of adults and children alike. Make sure to get your letter off early so that Santa has plenty of time to get your list memorized. Be sure to print names and addresses clearly.

Photos with Santa Dec 1-24
He’s back from the North Pole! Bring the kids to Fashion Island to meet with Santa, share their holiday wishes, and take photos with our favorite jolly ol’fella.  Santa will be at his custom-designed house on the Atrium Lawn through December 24.

Selfies with Santa Dec  1-24
Guests are invited to take complimentary “Selfies with Santa” with a very OC Santa decked out in a printed shirt, board shorts and sandals.

Santa’s Workshop  Dec 2-20
Jolly Ol’ Santa Claus will plan several return visits to his Workshop. Along with Mrs. Claus and the elves, Santa will greet all visitors with a cheerful, Ho! Ho! Ho! and a peppermint candy cane. You are welcome to take pictures of your visit. Santa will be in his workshop from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. each of these nights.

Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec 3
Head on down to the Town Green in Covenant Hills to see the lighting of their 60-foot tree. A Ladera Ranch tradition, the ceremony will feature performances from the Orange County High School of the Arts (OCHSA) Carolers and Ladera Ranch’s own Singers Company. Also, be sure to bring an unwrapped toy (valued at $10 or more) to support the Spark of Love Campaign in partnership with the local fire station.

A full day of family fun awaits at the 21st Annual Nutcracker Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Village! Get ready to shop, eat, craft, play, shop, eat and be entertained!

Hanukkah at the Ranch  Dec 5
Break out your dreidels and Hanukkah gelt and join fellow Ladera Ranch residents during a Menorah Lighting Ceremony and song session for the Festival of Lights.

Christmas at the Mission Dec 5
Celebrate the holidays with Mission San Juan Capistrano! Christmas at the Mission features local musical performance groups, crafts for kids and food. Bring the whole family to this fun, festive event that follows the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in downtown San Juan Capistrano.

Breakfast and Brunch with Santa  Dec 5
Join Santa for a delicious home-style cooked breakfast and brunch! The first session will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the second session from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Afterwards, the fun continues with holiday melodies, cookie decorating, storytelling. Registration is required. $8 per person.

Sugar Rush Dec 5-6
Sugar Rush is a one-of-a kind dessert showcase and sweet market experience packed with entertainment, competitions, demonstrations, cookie decorating for children, walk-about tasting of decadent and delicious sweet treats and shopping from dozens of the best pastry chefs and confectioners in Southern California.

Winter Fest Dec 18
Enjoy winter in the OC with ice skating, holiday film viewings, ice tubing, nightly snowfall, Christmas tree lighting celebration and more festive entertainment and family-friendly activities.

Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade  Dec 16-20
FREE to the public. The boat parade will light up the harbor for five consecutive nights. The parade starts at Collins Island at 6:30 p.m. and will last approximately three and a half hours over 250 ships participate in the parade along with hundreds of water front estates.
