The Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) features the world’s best bull riders up against the roughest, toughest bucking bulls. Fans will be able to experience three rounds of 8-second rides as the event has returned to its three-day format.

Orange County Black History Parade & Cultural Faire Feb. 7
35th Annual countywide celebration of Black History and African American Heritage Parade steps off at 10 a.m. on Anaheim Boulevard (from Sycamore Street, past City Hall, to Santa Ana Street)

Laguna Beach Music Festival Feb. 12 – 15
Start of the month of love with some music to warm the heart and soul. Check out the week long, Laguna Beach Music Festival, February 3rd through 9th. This roster of eclectic artists will present concerts ranging from classical to contemporary to indie-folk-pop. Jeffrey Kahane, music director of Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and acclaimed pianist will also be presenting a solo recital in an intimate salon setting.

Valentine’s Day Concert Feb. 14
Nothing inspires Romance more than the music of Spain, especially when played on the magical guitars of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. For a very special Valentine’s Day celebration, the Laguna Beach Music Festival presents LAGQ playing some of their most popular Spanish pieces, including “Evening in Granada” by Debussy, Fandango by Boccherini, and their beautiful arrangement of Carmen by Bizet.

Insane Inflatable 5k Feb. 14
The Insane Inflatable 5k is a non-competitive fun run. The run consists of a series of inflatable obstacles along the beach course. All participants who complete the run will receive a t-shirt and a medal. Visit the website for more information and to register.

Mardi Gras for Autism Feb. 14
To support autism charities and special education, Bourbon Street Bar and Grill’s sixth annual FREE family carnival benefit, ‘Mardi Gras for Autism’ will be held outside Bourbon Street Bar and Grill in the adjacent Fullerton Train Depot parking lot located at 110 E. Commonwealth Ave. in Fullerton on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tet Festival Feb. 20 – 22
Tet is the most observed holiday within Vietnamese culture. It celebrates the Lunar New Year, the beginning of Spring, and a way to start fresh. The Tet Festival of Southern California (Hoi Tet Sinh Vien) is recognized as the world’s largest Vietnamese New Year Festival. The festival attracts of over 100,000 guests annually and caters hundreds of booths in a span of a three-day weekend event.

Kids Pet Parade Feb. 21
Do you think you have the cutest pet? Maybe even the most unique pet? All pets must be leashed, haltered, or caged, and an adult must accompany children. A special “Judges Choice” prize will be awarded and this winner will be given the opportunity to be in the Swallows Day Parade. Some past winners have included potato bugs, dogs, ducks and ponies – what’s yours?
