01Sawdust Art Festival     Through Aug. 31
The Sawdust Art Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public and promoting the art created in Laguna Beach.  Visitors are invited to shop along sawdust-covered paths through a handcrafted village of fine arts and superb craftsmanship.

024th of July at Catalina     July 4

03SJC 4th of July Celebration    July 4
The event features nonprofit organizations and private businesses offering delectable food fare to purchase and a beer/wine garden for those ages 21 and older. Children and teens can enjoy mechanical rides, inflatable structures, bubble rollers, a mechanical train ride, and a petting zoo, as well as participate in old fashioned family games. 3-9pm. 25925 Camino Del Avion, San Juan Capistrano.

04Old Glory Boat Parade     July 4
The parade will form at 12:30 off Collins Island. The Harbor Patrol Fire Boat, followed by the VIP Boat, will lead the parade. The parade will begin promptly at 1:00 pm. Newport Harbor.


054th of July Music Festival on Casino Point     July 4
Join the Catalina Island Museum from 3-10pm. This year’s event will feature live music and great food during the afternoon. The fun continues in the evening with a concert and watching the fireworks over Avalon Harbor. Catalina Island Museum: 1 Casino Way, Avalon. 310-510-2414 /

08Woodstock Tribute Weekend     July 5-6

10Dana Point Summer Concert Series     July 7-Aug. 25
Dana Point Summer Concert Series are held on Sundays at various parks in Dana Point. The concerts are from 2:30-6pm. Beer, wine, soft drinks, water & food will be available from various vendors.

11Festival of the Arts – Pageant of the Masters     July 9-Aug. 30

13San Clemente Ocean Festival     July 19-20

14Shakespeare by the Sea     July 19-20
The City Arts Commission sponsors an engaging weekend with the professional troupe’s production of “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark” on Saturday evening and “A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream” on Sunday. 15Annual Flight of the Lasers     July 20

17Vans US Open of Surfing     July 26-Aug. 3

18The Greens Room Golf Tournament     July 28
Experience an awesome day on the greens with professional surfers that have regularly surfed the “green room” too.
