In 2013, Eventwerks launched the Dana Point Food, Wine & Music Festival. The event was an instant hit with more than 100 exhibitors in attendance, 15 restaurants, chocolatiers, live music from tribute bands, kids fun zone, International wine festival, art in the park and a microbrew festival. Food can be purchased directly from the various restaurant stands at the event. Restaurants provide their own menus and pricing which will be advertised at each booth. Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration Apr 22
The City of Mission Viejo will celebrate Earth Day & Arbor Day on Saturday, April 22, 2017, on Mustang Run at Los Alisos Boulevard from 8:00 a.m. to noon.  We’re looking for volunteers to plant drought-tolerant trees and shrubs and assist with litter clean up. A Green Expo will be held on Mustang Run from 8:00 a.m. to noon with free hotdogs and ice cream for participants (while supplies last).

Pet Expo Apr 28-30
A giant animal entertainment and education festival. It’s the largest pet and pet product expo in the world. Over 1,000 animals will entertain you in stage shows, competitions and demonstrations including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, goats, pigs, llamas, rabbits, miniature horses and more. There will also be pet adoptions, pet products for sale, petting zoo, how-to workshops and advice from animal experts. It is presented by a nonprofit organization to promote responsible pet care. Dana Point Fine Arts Outdoor Art Show at 2017 Festival of Whales Mar 4
Dana Point Fine Arts Association, a nonprofit organization, will have their annual outdoor art show and sale during the Dana Point Harbor Festival of Whales will be from 9:30 AM to 5 PM at the Harbor Boardwalk along the boat docks in Mariner’s Village. Watercolor, oil, acrylic, colored pencil, pastel and photography by many award-winning local artists will be available for purchase. Dana Point Fine Arts annually donates a portion of the proceeds from the show to Dana Hills High School Art Department.

The Parade takes place in down-town San Juan Capistrano. This is the nation’s largest non-motorized parade. It is totally organized and presented by the San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association. Arrive early; most street closures are by 10.00 a.m. The parade begins promptly at 11 am. The Mercado is a Street Fair and Market Place where you can eat, drink, and shop at over 100 booths. It is THE place to be after the parade! Listen and dance to the music of The Working Cowboy Band, a traditional country music band.
